A large highly collectible French oak artist’s floor easel c.1900 in original condition featuring a functioning pull out iron stopper mechanism allowing for the height to be adjustable from a height of 540mm to 1475mm. Constructed with two vertical structural supports, it has sliding bars top and bottom to secure large or small canvases in place. The square easel foot base rests on four period castors. An ideal piece for any artist or collector of fine art, or alternatively a wonderful sturdy stand to support a flat screen television.
