A pair of elegant Biedermeier chairs c.1820 crafted from Rosewood, featuring rectangular cross banded backrests. The front legs are gently tapered with splayed back legs. The chairs have newly upholstered seat cushions (removeable), in a stylish dark bronze fabric, accented with a trellis design. The soft polished finish highlights the timeless beauty of the Rosewood. Biedermeier is an early 19th-century German furniture and decoration style(1815-1848). It was an unaristocratic, clear and simple style, mainly Empire and classic in line.
