This elegant pair of late Victorian silver-plated Corinthian column candlesticks, dated 1899 and crafted in London, exemplifies refined design and craftsmanship. Made by the esteemed Sheffield silversmiths Thomas Bradbury & Sons, known for their Sheffield Plate work from 1795 to 1943, these candlesticks feature reeded columns and detachable sconce sleeves. Each weighted candlestick stands on a square, stepped foot adorned with a gadroon border and urn motifs. Full hallmarks are struck on the side of each base, confirming their authenticity and heritage. NB: please note the candle sconces are not matching.There is one very small hole in the collar of one candlestick. Sold as a set of two.
