Charming oil on canvas signed Jean Laudy “Bouquet of Flowers”. Jean Laudy was a Dutch painter who was born in Venlo in the Netherlands on May 4,1877 – and died in Belgium, February 6th, 1956. He was one of the official portraitists of King Albert 1st and King Leopold III of Belgium. He studied at the Beaux-Arts Academies in Brussels and Antwerp. Today, his works are held in various public collections including at the Royal Museum of Fine Arts.
