This 19th century French Napoleon III period daybed features a cast iron decorative painted foliate frame to the front and faux painted metal wood effect bed ends. The frame rests on stylised legs on rolling castors and is designed to fit against a wall (as the iron mould design is flat against the wall side). This piece includes a modern slatted mattress base ready for a new mattress.
