Engraved with ‘LOUIS SIPP, VITICULTEUR, RIBEAUVILLE, ALSACE’, Louis Sipp is a winegrower from Ribeauville in the Alsace region in the north eastern French border with Germany and Switzerland.
The silver mark on the base of the cooler is of a French silversmith ‘Deetjen’, from the same Alsace region the winery ‘Louis Sipp’.
