A mid century Félix Frères (Toulouse) silver plated shell handled wine/champagne bucket. Félix Frères was a well known silversmith in Toulouse, founded in 1875.It all began on Rue Nazareth, with a silver workshop. The workshop went on to manufacture silverware. In the early 19th century, it moved to Place Rouaix, with a large sales area. In 1920, the workshop moved to allée Charles-de-Fitte, and the store was relocated a few meters further, to the corner of rue d’Alsace, where it remains today. The business has remained family-owned from the outset. (There is one small ding to the bucket).
