$4,350.00
English Coronation banner for Edward VII 1902. It is thought to have come from Dorset and was therefore part of a provincial celebration, which most probably brought together the entire village in making celebratory bunting, flags, banners etc. The Coronation of Edward VII and his wife, Alexandra, as king and queen of the United Kingdom and the British Dominions took place at Westminster Abbey, London, on 9 August 1902.
A worn velvet ground beautifully embroidered with beads and tapestry celebrating the coronation of Edward VII. Freshly framed in a bronze effect finish.
