A rare luxury classic Christofile Gallia collection silver plated ice bucket with lid.The bucket consists of three separate parts: the outer bucket, a lid with a ribbed handle and the inner bucket which serves as an ice cube separator. The lid is thick which means that the ice remains frozen for a good period of time and melted ice water can be easily separated. The wavy rim allows glasses to be placed in the bucket supporting the glass rim and thereby chilling the wine glass. Marked Christofle France to the base, Gallia collection and the Christofle Knight and o c hallmark dating it from 1935 – 1975 . The weight is approximately 1.2kg. The bucket is in wonderful condition.
