A lovely bronze of a sheep, signed J.E.MASSON. Born in Paris 1871 – 1932, statuary artist Jules Edward Masson worked with the Max Le Verrier foundry in the late 20’s/early 30’s. He received a medal of honour and several awards in his time. Jules was the son and pupil of Clovis Masson, and specialised in animal sculpture like his father.
