Bronze Art Deco Sculpture of athletic ‘working man’ signed MELANI (1902-1934). Little is known about short lived artist Salvatore Melani, other than that he produce some beautiful art deco sculptures in his time. (This piece includes an additional piece of history in form of a plaque, affixed to the marble base. This given as a gift to ‘Jules Delot’ of Namur, Belgium in 1957.)
