A very handsome antique Empire style bulbous shaped cast iron urn by Alfred Corneau a Charleville. Original silvered paint finish. It has a drainage hole should you wish to place a plant in it. Lovely original patination.
CHARLEVILLE (France) was one of the manufacturers of art castings of the second half of the 19th century, which continued in 1886 by Deville, Pailliette and Cie, successors in Charleville. They reproduced the same models, until the middle of the 20th century.
