$1,250.00
This elegant pair of framed paintings, oil on tin, attributed to Van Haagen of the Dutch School, features 19th-century copies of earlier works by an unknown artist. The first painting, “The Connoisseur,” depicts an 18th-century male servant with a feather duster, admiring a marble bust on a pedestal. The second painting, “Reflections,” portrays a young female worker gazing into a mirror, her feather duster discreetly held behind her back. Both pieces are beautifully framed under glass in ornate gilt frames and are priced individually.
