An elegant mid century Louis XVI style grey painted banquette reupholstered in a gorgeous paisley patterned velvet. The bench has a carved twisted ribbon detail all around and is raised on six circular tapering legs  with paterae (rosettes) to the knees. A very versatile piece that will add a touch of elegance to any bedroom, living room or hallway. The bench has been photographed with A Venetian Mirror Plinth c.1920
