This striking English Haddonstone reconstituted stone Clam Fountain is designed for traditional gardens, with water flowing gently between the fluted edges of the shell. It would be particularly stunning when softly illuminated on a courtyard wall, complemented by a simple verdigris copper spout. The fountain creates a soothing cascading sound and requires a minimum wall thickness of 215mm (8½”). A drainage hole is present at the centre of the shell. The shell weighs approximately 120 kg, combining beauty and durability for an elegant garden feature. (A repair has been made to the top of the shell but has been professionally restored using dowel poles to ensure its strength and stability).
