$6,500.00
A French flame mahogany Empire period four drawer commode with a fossilised black marble top c.1820. The beautiful book matched flame mahogany veneers are set over solid French oak. Over these three drawers is a single drawer flanked by full columns with original mercurial gold gilt engine turned bronze capitals and bases. These columns are supported by turned front feet and block back legs. (No keys present). N.B. the commode appears more red than it is in the photos. We have had the commode polished professionally.
