A collection of antique French missals (religious prayer books) , also called “Petit livre d’offices et de Prieres” c1890 – 1920. The majority of covers are made of ivory coloured celluloid to imitate ivory and are generally embossed with religious and floral motifs. Most of this collection have gilded edge pages.
