A late 19th century gilt brass adjustable bible stand. This stand is simple and displays the Sacré Cœur (also known as the Sacred Heart of Jesus) to the front of the stand. This symbol represents Jesus Christ’s actual heart as his love for all of humanity. … and the flames surrounding it, signifies the divine light of love. The solid brass plate on which a bible can be displayed shows a hand-engraved cross.
