An elegant French Christofle 19th century siverplated dining set displayed in two presentation cases. One case holds 11 forks and 12 large dessert spoons and the second box holds 12 dinner knifes. Each piece features an LL monogram.

The Silver plate mark on this set (metal agente) was used from 1862 – 1935 along with the stamping of the firm name Christofle. Christofle was known worldwide for its quality and elegance, using a higher standard of silver purity (.950 is higher than the .925 sterling of Great Britain).
