An English Industrial metal Mid Century Sculptors Modelling Stand circa 1950 by Alec Tiranto Company. The cast aluminium top with smoothly rounded corners sits on a central steel pole allowing the working height to be easily adjusted. The  stand is collapsible and in working order and it is height adjustable with the heavy duty screw thread and lock nut. The tubular aluminium legs, can be folded for storage and transport.
