A Hollywood Regency style mid century table lamp from Massive, Belgium c.1990’s. It has a square black and brass base and a metal brassed urn with palm leaves or reeds on top. Massive was originally a bronze foundry and they produced mainly candlesticks, crucifixes and chandeliers in Wilrijk near Antwerp, Belgium. The company was founded in 1926 by Pieter-Jozef De Jaeck. In the 1980s Massive became a leading lighting brand in Europe. Re wired to NZ standards with gold flex and an in line switch.
