An antique style metal gimballed Whaling Oil Light or armillary sphere. This reproduction features a central gimbal, a feature which on an original whaling lamp was to ensure the flame kept alight whilst a boat listed in the ocean. Unsure of the age of this piece, but most likely mid century. A great sculptural addition to your courtyard or outdoor dining space, with a fresh citronella candle added to the centre.
