A stunning pair of hand-blown organic glass leaf Italian Murano sconces c.1950. The shimmering surface is created by scattered particles of clear sand/glass on the reverse that produces a bubble effect (Rugiadoso), which acts to diffuse light. This pair would make a wonderful statement in a bedroom or a powder room. As they are hand blown they are not absolutely identical but very close in size which would not be noticeable on a wall.These sconces have been re wired to NZ standards.
