Arthur Craco , Bruxelles 1869 – 1955 was a sculptor, ceramist, drawer, engraver and designer who became crucial to the revival of Belgian ceramics: he was a promotor of the decorative arts and an innovator who promoted ceramics as a true form of Art.In 1909 he worked in Federic HORTAメs factory after being awarded a “Grand Prix” at the International Exhibition of Milan in 1906. He made his first stonewares around 1914 at Stockheim-Fouches, then at Andenne.
